Year of the Dragon introduced new characters and minigames to the series, as well as improved graphics and music. People travel through thirty different worlds collecting gems and eggs. Named after the animal in the Chinese Zodiac, which was the symbol at the time of the game's release, Year of the Dragon is based on a nominal purple dragon Spyro as he travels to the "Forgotten Worlds" after 150 magical dragon eggs are stolen from the land of the dragons from an evil sorceress. However, unlike the other 2 games, it was not given a Japanese release. It was released in North America and the PAL regions in October and November 2000, separately. It was the last Spyro game Insomniac developed their next title would be Ratchet and Clank for the PlayStation 2. She is a half-blood Wind/Fear dragon and the daughter of Alizeh and Cobris as well as the younger half-sister of Velvereen, Vesper and Vispalis, despite that her egg was laid a few years before her sisters clutch, though Caspin hatched 5 years after they were born. Year of the Dragon is the third chapter in the Spyro series. Caspin is a Legend of Spyro oc created by AetherMuse. The game was published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the Playstation in 2000.
